Get an idea of price for your area

Trade waste pricing genuinely depends on where you are, route and tip distance both affect it, so we only show starting prices once we know roughly where your business is. This won't book anything, it just gives you a fair idea before you request your quote.

Scheduled trade waste collection, by bin size

Weekly or fortnightly, on a minimum six-month agreement. Annual waste transfer note included.

Skip hire, one-off

Delivery, collection and disposal all included. Quoted and confirmed on your written quote before anything's booked, same as everything else here.

Indicative starting prices only, not a live calculator. Every job is confirmed on your written quote before anything's agreed.

Types of waste we handle

From general trade waste to specialist streams, here's what we can collect. Not sure which applies to you? Tell us on your quote request and we'll sort it out.

General waste

Everyday non-recyclable trade waste from shops, offices and hospitality, collected in bags or bins depending on how much you produce.

Dry mixed recycling

Cardboard, plastic, paper and cans collected together and sorted for recycling, a common fit for offices and retail units.

Glass

Bottles and glass packaging collected separately, particularly relevant for pubs, restaurants and off-licences.

Food waste

Separated food waste collection for kitchens, cafes and restaurants, kept apart from general waste under current recycling rules.

Bulky waste

Old furniture, fixtures and fittings from an office or retail refit, collected alongside or instead of your regular waste.

Confidential & specialist

Sensitive documents and specialist waste streams handled discreetly. Ask us what applies to your business when you request a quote.

Collection options

Real starting points, not a live calculator. Business waste pricing genuinely depends on a short conversation about volume and frequency, so pick the shape that's closest to your business and we'll confirm an exact price together.

Your duty of care, handled

Every business producing waste carries a legal responsibility for it. Here's what that means and how Tasqo covers it.

What the law requires

Under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, every business that produces waste has a duty of care to make sure it's collected, transported and disposed of properly. That means a waste transfer note for every load, with copies kept for two years, or three years for hazardous waste.

What it costs to get wrong

Non-compliance carries a £300 fixed penalty notice as a starting point, rising to an unlimited fine if it's taken to prosecution. It's a straightforward duty to meet, and one that's easy to overlook when you're busy running a shop or an office.

★

This is exactly what the annual waste transfer note is for. One document, agreed once, covers every collection under a scheduled agreement for the whole year, so a shop being collected weekly isn't signing new paperwork on every visit. That's the actual value of the season ticket, not just a compliance box to tick.

Many letting agents and small businesses combine a business waste agreement with a one-off clearance or a clean at changeover. Worth mentioning what else you need when you request your quote.

How it works

Tell us about your business

Roughly how much waste, what kind, and how often. A short form is all we need to start the conversation.

We agree a frequency and price

Ad-hoc, weekly or fortnightly, we work out what fits your business and confirm it in writing.

Collections run on schedule

Your crew turns up on the agreed days, backed by your annual waste transfer note. No paperwork per visit.

Common questions

Scheduled weekly or fortnightly collections run on a minimum six-month agreement. Ad-hoc collections have no minimum term, you simply book one when you need it.

Trade waste is anything produced by running a business, packaging, office waste and retail stock waste among it. It's handled under different rules to household waste, which is why a waste transfer note is required for every load.

Just get in touch and we'll book an ad-hoc collection at the standard trade rate, on top of your existing scheduled agreement. There's no need to change or cancel the agreement itself.

Food waste has its own separate handling rules under current recycling reforms. General trade waste is the easier place to start, and we're happy to talk through food waste requirements separately if that applies to your business.

No setup fee for a standard scheduled agreement. We agree your frequency and price, issue your annual waste transfer note, and collections begin on the agreed date.

More from Tasqo

A changeover rarely stops at the bins. Letting agents and small businesses often pair a waste agreement with a clearance or a clean, and everything else Tasqo does is one fixed price away.
